Australia is facing severe water restrictions, and as a result, garden sizes are being drastically reduced as more gardeners turn to water saving alternatives.

STEG Stones are the perfect alternative for lawn areas, planter pots and garden beds as they create an ideal plant mulch, retaining moisture and reducing watering needs by half.

The stones prevent soil erosion, leave no mess after watering and keep the root zone cool, which in turn, holds moisture for enhanced plant growth. They also create a protective layer while still letting water freely flow through to the soil. Allowing your regular liquid or granular fertiliser to be evenly distributed to the plant roots.

Decorative STEG Stones are available in 3 modern colours with every 10kg box containing a 200ml bottle of coloured Stegbond Adhesive Binding Agent in colours: Aubergine, Kimberley Red, Black or Natural

Natural STEG Stones are available in 20kg bags for larger applications, with Stegbond Binding Agent purchased separately as required.Stegbond Binding Agent in Natural colour, is available separately in a handy 420ml bottle. One bottle covers the contents of one 20kg bag of STEG Stones.

For large commercial quantities a 1200kg Bulker Bag and 20ltr buckets of STEGBOND Binding Agent are also available.

Easy and safe to apply

1. Using a plastic bucket and rubber gloves, lightly dampen the stones with water. Then mix small handfuls at a time, with STEGBOND Adhesive Binding Agent, to apply a thin even coating, making sure to mix and stir thoroughly.

2. Remove the gloves and using a trowel, disperse the stones liberally onto the soil, leaving a 2cm space around the stem.

3. Level out the stones to a layer about 2.5cm thick and allow 48 hours to dry before watering.

STEG Stones allow water to freely permeate through to the plant roots, letting your regular liquid or granulated fertiliser, release evenly into the soil.
